We’re now supporting our highly reputable client in their search for a strategic, detail-orientated HR Manager who will be integral in driving the company vision. The successful candidate will need to be an approachable ‘people-person’, with a passion for all things people and culture.

The purpose of the role is to provide robust HR advice and guidance to senior management; acting as a trusted advisor on all people-related issues, and to actively support and develop the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility and Health & Wellness initiatives.

As the local HR lead, this individual will be responsible for collaborating with team leaders to oversee and manage the recruitment, selection and talent development processes; be proactive in recognizing and pursuing opportunities for improving procedures, processes and controls; and take the lead on annual business planning, performance management, and salary and bonus-related activity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in HR management;
  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree. A Masters in HR or an MBA is a plus;
  • Experience working with Senior Managers and/or Directors;
  • The successful applicant will be a driving force of energy, humor, enthusiasm and will have a well-developed sense of empathy;
  • The ability to think creatively and innovatively to present proposals for driving employee engagement, culture and positive business outcomes;
  • Advanced problem solving competency and able to offer a variety of solutions to complex people and business related issues;
  • Exposure to working on a global basis covering performance management, talent development and employee engagement;
  • Used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders;
  • Confident and organized, with an ability to hold difficult conversations, and to make decisions quickly.
