We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Senior Trust Officer to join our client’s Private Wealth Team. You will take direct administrative responsibility for a portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures, ensuring premium service delivery to beneficiaries, clients, and intermediaries. You will help identify and mitigate risks across client portfolios while supporting the Trust Manager in delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate client records, administering trust and company accounts in compliance with governing documents and regulations, and ensuring timely billing and receivables collection. You will also assist with establishing banking accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting the creation of incorporation documents, minutes, and resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field with a recognized trust qualification, such as STEP.
  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in offshore trust work with a proven ability to administer complex trust accounts in high volume.
  • Strong knowledge of trust and estate laws, company, and fiduciary structures.
  • Working knowledge of Cayman Islands AML regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting legal documents and financial statements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and relationship management.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and solutions to meet clients’ trust and estate planning needs.

Salary will be in the range of $95,000.00 to $120,000.00 USD per annum commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Senior Trust Officer

The Senior Trust Officer will be responsible for managing a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and wealth structures, ensuring top-tier service to clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders. The Senior Trust Officer will work on bespoke fiduciary services, delivering excellent client service and demonstrating strong technical expertise in complex transactions, while staying informed on current issues affecting fiduciary structures and clients.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of trust and estate laws, and company and fiduciary structures.
  • Working knowledge of Cayman Islands AML regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in AEOI and beneficial ownership (review, classification, due diligence) with a proficiency in CAP and CORIS.
  • Proven practice in administering complex trust accounts in high volume.
  • Ability to assimilate, prioritize, and process a high volume of client requests with rigid deadlines and to work under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting legal documents and financial statements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and relationship management.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and solutions to meet clients’ trust and estate planning needs.
