Assistant Director of Finance

This position operates within the hospitality sector, and the purpose of the role is to manage and prepare reports which summarize, forecast and/or analyze business activity and financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of month-end entries and various financial reports, preparation of budgets and forecasts, management of general ledger, and management of a team of five.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be a team player who flourishes in a high-pressure work environment. This role requires a highly organized, dynamic individual with strong operational skills and the ability to motivate others around them.

A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of four years relevant experience in a supervisory role is required. The successful individual will need to be self-motivated and organized with strong leadership and reporting skills. Hospitality experience is essential.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
