Senior Regulatory Compliance Executive (Investments & Digital Assets)

This is a highly autonomous regulatory compliance role with responsibility for owning and executing the compliance monitoring programme across a licensed investment and virtual asset business.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end compliance monitoring activities, perform risk-based reviews and gap analyses, assess the impact of regulatory developments, and translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, business-focused guidance. Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the role involves preparing board-level compliance reporting, risk assessments, regulatory updates, and license-specific submissions, while supporting regulatory examinations, audits, and ongoing engagement with regulators.

The position offers a unique opportunity to shape and enhance compliance delivery within a global fintech environment. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the successful individual will also contribute to process optimization, automation initiatives, and the development of AI-enabled compliance solutions designed to improve scalability, efficiency, and regulatory effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, compliance, or a related field; professional certifications such as ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in compliance, with a proven track record of independently designing, managing, and executing compliance monitoring programs.
  • Strong knowledge of investment services regulatory frameworks with an understanding of emerging virtual asset regulations.
  • Experience working with or exposure to other offshore regulators, such as BVI FSC, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply traditional financial services compliance principles to evolving virtual asset frameworks, using strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance compliance processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality compliance reports, regulatory analyses, and board-level reports.
