Manager, Trusts

The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for managing and administering a complex portfolio of private client structures, with a strong focus on client relationship management, revenue generation, and resolving complex issues.

Reporting to the Head of Trusts, the successful candidate will oversee trusts and corporate entities, ensuring that all structures are administered in line with applicable laws, constitutional documents, and internal policies. The Manager, Trusts will maintain and develop relationships with settlors, beneficiaries, investment managers, and other third parties, consistently delivering a high standard of service. The role also involves monitoring transactions to maintain a robust AML framework, managing the profitability of client relationships, contributing to the budgeting process, and supporting team development through effective mentoring and coaching.

Requirements:

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in the private trust industry of which two years must be as a Team Leader.
• Professional qualification, such as STEP, ACIB diploma, or ACIS.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance principals.
• Excellent knowledge of trust and company administration.
• Good knowledge of investments and/or banking.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team management skills.
