Junior-Middle DevOps Engineer

Our client is a technology-driven company focused on proprietary research and development of quantitative systems and automated trading infrastructure. They build and operate their own internal platforms, analytics tools, and software to support data-driven decision-making in digital asset markets.
They are now looking for a Junior–Middle DevOps Engineer to support and evolve their infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling. This role is ideal for engineers with hands-on experience who want to deepen their DevOps skill set while working alongside senior engineers in a production-grade environment.
You will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day infrastructure operations while gradually taking ownership of larger system components.
• Assist in maintaining and improving cloud and server infrastructure
• Support CI/CD pipelines for internal applications and services
• Monitor system health, logs, and basic performance metrics
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripts and configuration tools
• Support deployment, rollback, and environment management processes
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure smooth delivery pipelines
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks
• Follow security, access control, and operational best practices
Required Skills & Experience
• 1–3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure-related roles
• Basic experience with Linux systems and command-line tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Understanding of containers (Docker) and basic container workflows
• Experience with cloud providers or dedicated servers
• Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with Git and infrastructure-related repositories
• Ability to work remotely and manage operational responsibilities
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes or similar)
• Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and security principles
• Exposure to high-availability or performance-sensitive system
