Our client has an exciting new opportunity for a General Manager to join their team, based in the Cayman Islands!
 
The General Manager (GM) reports to the Directors and oversees all day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring the efficient and profitable delivery of a comprehensive professional cleaning service. This role is responsible for strategic planning, staff leadership, operational excellence, client satisfaction, safety compliance, and business growth. The GM serves as the key link between Directors and frontline teams, ensuring that company standards, values, and goals are consistently met.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management
●    Provide strong leadership to supervisors and frontline staff.
●    Recruit, train, develop, mentor, and evaluate employees, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
●    Establish clear performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations.
●    Implement new technologies, systems, or processes to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
 
Operations Management
●    Oversee daily operations.
●    Ensure all service calls are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with client requirements and industry regulations.
●    Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure consistent service excellence.
●    Optimize operational workflows, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize productivity and enhance employee well-being.
●    Manage fleet, equipment, and supply inventory, ensuring cost-effective procurement and maintenance
 
Revenue Management
●    Monitor revenue streams, profitability, and cost controls.
●    Review financial reports and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
●    Support invoicing, and collections processes in coordination with the admin team.
 
Client Relations & Business Development
●    Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operations, service delivery, and customer experience.
●    Respond to escalated customer issues, resolving conflicts quickly and effectively.
●    Secure new janitorial and commercial contracts and expand service offerings.
●    Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
 
Compliance, Safety & Risk Management
●    Ensure compliance with all local regulations related to cleaning, restoration, environmental health and workplace safety.
●    Ensure compliance with local laws related to employment.
●    Maintain adherence to DEH health and safety standards.
●    Lead Health & Safety initiatives, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and employee training.
