This role is responsible for reconciling accounts, posting journal entries, and maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger to ensure proper accounting of all transactions. The Finance Officer will verify, compile, and analyze financial data to support accurate recording of receipts, payments, and other routine transactions, monitor transactional integrity, and resolve discrepancies promptly. The position also involves assessing the financial implications of individual transactions, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure proper authorization and compliance, and maintaining up-to-date records to support smooth day-to-day financial operations while adhering to regulatory and internal controls.
Please note this is a temporary role and the successful incumbent will be required to start at short notice.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.
- 2-4 years of experience working in an accounting environment in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and QuickBooks.
