As the subject matter expert, the Director will be a trusted advisor to clients and intermediaries, fostering strong working relationships and providing expert guidance on corporate administration matters. This senior leadership role works closely with the Managing Director, offering an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to shape and execute business strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead a high-performing team.
The Director will oversee the development and implementation of department business plans, ensuring financial targets are met while identifying new market opportunities and leveraging existing client relationships for cross-selling. They will manage their own time and resources efficiently while ensuring the same for their team, holding responsibility for compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as recruitment, performance appraisals, salary reviews, and broader team development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law, or related area, or at least 10 years of industry experience at a senior level and excellent knowledge of the investment and funds services industries.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, effectively managing a team, driving performance and fostering a culture of learning and development and positive team engagement.
- Strong client service mentality, with extensive technical skills in the relevant service delivery.
- Sound knowledge of fiduciary administration and regulatory operations.
- Experience in building effective and collaborative working relationships with colleagues in Cayman and across jurisdictions, sharing best practice, coordinating activity and resources.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills through strong stakeholder management.
