Counsel - Corporate

Overview:
Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly skilled lawyer for a Counsel-level position within the Corporate practice of its Bermuda office.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer to play a key role in advising on complex and high-value corporate and finance transactions in a dynamic offshore environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of corporate and finance matters, including but not limited to:
•    Banking & finance transactions
•    Private equity & investment structures
•    Insurance and reinsurance
•    Fund finance & asset finance
•    Structuring and restructuring
•    Capital markets and securities
•    Mergers & acquisitions (M&A)
•    Joint ventures and investment funds
•    Corporate governance & regulatory compliance
•    Digital assets and emerging technologies
•    Asset management and lending-related investments

Requirements:
•    A minimum of 9 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)
•    Qualified as a lawyer in a Commonwealth jurisdiction
•    Extensive experience in corporate and finance transaction law gained from a top-tier law firm along with strong academic credentials
•    Excellent relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
•    Proven ability to manage complex transactions and deliver high-quality legal advice
