Case Coordinator (Temp)

The post-holder will support the administration of family law proceedings, including divorce, custody, adoption, public law, maintenance, and affiliation matters. Responsibilities include coordinating case processing, maintaining accurate physical and digital records, handling sensitive documentation, and providing general guidance to clients on procedural matters.
Additional duties include preparing and distributing court orders and warrants, monitoring case progress and financial payments, and ensuring timely data entry and file updates. The post-holder will liaise with relevant agencies, organize hearing materials, and support colleagues across related legal functions. They are expected to manage high volumes of tasks with discretion and accuracy, contributing to the overall efficiency of family court operations.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in business administration (or equivalent) or a paralegal certification
- A minimum of four (4) years relevant administrative/secretarial experience in a Court and/or Legal environment.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite for reports.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with the public, Attorneys, Judges, Magistrates and other Public Officers
- Must possess accounting skills and practical accounting experience and be able to read and analyse financial documents, to ensure accurate reporting to Court and prepare relevant calculations.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and assimilate information quickly.
