Associate Litigation - Guernsey

Opportunity Overview: 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and personable Associate with a specialism in Insolvency Law to join a leading Litigation team based in Guernsey.

 
This role is ideal for a legal professional with experience in restructuring and insolvency who enjoys working in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of matters both contentious and non-contentious, supporting clients through all stages of financial distress, from preventative restructuring strategies to formal insolvency and liquidation proceedings.
 

Responsibilities:
•    Advising clients on debt restructuring, repayment negotiations, and insolvency risk mitigation.
•    Supporting formal insolvency and liquidation processes, including legal actions and asset recovery.
•    Managing complex legal and financial challenges in both advisory and litigation contexts.
•    This is a multifaceted role that requires strong commercial awareness, sound legal judgement, and the ability to navigate high-pressure situations with confidence.

 
Requirements:
•    3-5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in a commonwealth jurisdiction.
•    A strong academic background.
•    Demonstrated experience in restructuring and insolvency law.
•    A proactive and client-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
