Overview:
Our client, a leading insurance brokerage in the Cayman Islands, is seeking a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their team!
 
 
Responsibilities:
•    Payment Allocation – Client and Insurer Reconciliations.
•    Finance / Credit Agreement Reconciliation.
•    Assist with bank reconciliations.
•    Assist with credit control.
•    General Accounting Administration.
•    Handle internal and external inquiries via email and phone.
 
 
Requirements:
•    Minimum associate degree or equivalent.
•    Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant position (Insurance experience desirable but not essential).
•    Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and the ability to work under pressure.
•    Strong attention to detail with the ability to collaborate with others or work independently.
•    Strong numeracy skills with proficiency in computer skills.
•    Expertise in Microsoft Word and Excel, with prior experience in accounting software preferred!
•    Strong interpersonal, report writing, and communication skills, with a high level of integrity and confidentiality required for this role.
