Senior Trust Officer

As a Senior Trust Officer, you will take direct responsibility for managing a complex portfolio of trusts, companies, and wealth structures, ensuring exceptional service to clients, intermediaries, and stakeholders while maintaining full regulatory compliance. The role involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing technical expertise on trust administration, overseeing documentation and statutory filings, and ensuring trust provisions and policies are consistently adhered to.

You will also guide and support a team of Trust Officers, manage high volumes of client requests under tight deadlines, conduct due diligence and beneficial ownership reviews, and navigate key platforms such as CAP and CORIS. This role offers the opportunity to provide strategic input to the Trust Manager or Client Director, driving both client satisfaction and operational excellence across the trust administration function.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of previous experience with complex trust and company administration and high-volume portfolio management.
  • Hold an internationally recognized professional qualification ACIB, ICSA; preferably STEP qualified.
  • Thorough knowledge of trust and estate laws, company, AML regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and effectively collaborate/manage change within a deadline-oriented, customer-focused and diverse environment.
  • Ability to understand and interpret most trust deeds.
  • Display superior communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, team, client service, organization, problem-solving and administrative skills.
  • Skilled in mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
