Fund Administration Manager

A leading financial services firm is seeking a fund administration professional to deliver comprehensive services across a portfolio of open and closed-ended funds. The role involves accounting, NAV calculation, preparation of financial statements, transfer agency support, and coordination with auditors, tax teams, and compliance functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
The Fund Administration Manager will also be expected to collaborate with client leads and internal teams to manage fund engagements across industries, applying partnership agreements and private placement terms to complex calculations such as fees, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models. Additional responsibilities include preparing investor notices and board reports, managing client and investor requests, supporting process improvements and system initiatives, and assisting directors with fiduciary and AML-related tasks.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of post-qualified experience in fund services, backed by a university degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, along with a recognized accounting designation.
- Big 4 audit background plus fiduciary support experience is desirable.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships and navigate cross-jurisdictional cultural differences.
- The ability to apply knowledge of corporate governance and risk mitigation practices, thriving in diverse, dynamic, and collaborative environments under tight deadlines.
