Publications Administrative Officer (Temporary)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Publications Administrative Officer to provide administrative and customer service support. The successful candidate will assist with the processing, formatting, and management of publication materials, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high standard of service. This role involves frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders and requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.
• Type, format, and process publication submissions, including data entry and layout preparation.
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain information within internal systems and records.
• Respond to client enquiries and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
• Liaise with public and private sector stakeholders to obtain missing or supplementary information required for publication.
• Provide a high level of customer service, as client contact is a key component of the role.
• Support general administrative functions to ensure publication deadlines are met.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Education
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience
• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role.
• Demonstrated experience in data entry and customer service.
• Experience in a publications, records, or document-processing environment is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Strong general IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently to meet deadlines.
