Fund Director

The purpose of the role involves serving as a Director on client entities, including cryptocurrency and blockchain entities, and supporting the wider governance team with business development services to continue to grow the company’s portfolio.
Duties:
- Directorship services to funds, and cryptocurrency and blockchain entities.
- Oversee the onboarding of new directorship clients, preparing and making pitches for potential clients, drafting service agreements, and ensuring relevant client due diligence materials are complete.
- Review of relevant documentation, including financials statements and transaction documents, and approval of same.
- Attendance at client entity board meetings and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met for the assigned portfolio of clients.
- Marketing and business development activity, including writing articles and attending relevant industry conferences to promote the business.
- Take ownership of tasks and projects relating to governance services.
- Billing and collection of fees and ensuring accuracy of client database for assigned portfolio of clients.
Requirements:
- A recognized qualification in Accounting, Finance or Law, with more than 5 years of relevant professional experience with knowledge and experience in governance services.
- Expertise with the structural, regulatory, and multijurisdictional environment in which fund vehicles operate is essential.
- Experience or knowledge of the offshore fund space is essential. Knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain would be an additional advantage.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team and be committed to excellent service levels.
