Compliance Manager (AMLCO & MLRO)

We’re assisting our client, a well-established hedge fund, with the hire of an AMLCO/MLRO to manage the overall compliance framework for the business; leading policy development and ensuring the correct controls are in place in order to achieve a robust and effective aligned holistic compliance framework. The successful incumbent AMLCO/MLRO will keep abreast of changing laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures accordingly and informing key stakeholders, management, and regulators overseas. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience at a regulated financial services provider in a senior compliance role.
• Previous experience in an AMLCO and/or MLRO role.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and prior experience dealing with CIMA is essential.
• Internationally recognized professional AML designation (CAMS, ICA, etc.).
• Proven technical knowledge of onshore and offshore financial services products.
• Solid understanding of legal requirements and controls.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with key stakeholders of all levels, globally.
