Business Analyst (Temp To Perm)

An established organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the assessment and potential implementation of a new investment order and portfolio management platform, replacing its existing system. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business units and third-party vendors, the successful candidate will lead requirements gathering, process analysis and solution evaluation, ensuring the proposed platform aligns with the organization’s investment operations, data, reporting and future business needs.

The role will also coordinate key project activities across the assessment and implementation lifecycle, including vendor selection, business case development, testing, user acceptance, risk and dependency management, and implementation readiness.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Business Analyst with strong stakeholder engagement, requirements management and project coordination skills to contribute to a significant investment technology transformation.

Note – this is a temp to perm opportunity and will require the incumbent to be available to start at short notice.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline is preferred. Business Analysis or Project Management certifications, such as CBAP or PMP, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments are desirable.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, including requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement and facilitating workshops and interviews.
• Experience preparing business cases, RFIs and RFPs, developing evaluation criteria, assessing vendor submissions and supporting vendor selection and procurement.
• Minimum 2 years’ project coordination or project management experience, coordinating business and technology change initiatives, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies and third-party vendors.
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment operations and investment management systems is preferred, with experience using Bloomberg or other investment management platforms considered an advantage.
