Senior Associate (Litigation & Dispute Resolution)

We are partnering with a premier offshore firm to recruit a Senior Associate for its expanding Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on some of the most complex, high-value, and multi-jurisdictional disputes in the offshore market, with a particular focus on insolvency, contentious restructuring, asset recovery, commercial litigation, and cross-border disputes.

Working closely with Partners, you will take a leading role in managing matters from inception through to resolution, developing litigation strategy, drafting sophisticated court documents and pleadings, overseeing disclosure exercises, preparing evidence and hearing bundles, and representing clients in court as appropriate.

You will also supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, build and maintain strong client relationships, contribute to business development and thought leadership initiatives, and play an active role in the continued growth and success of the firm’s internationally recognized practice.

Requirements:

• 6+ years’ PQE, preferably with experience in an offshore firm or international firm, with strong academics.
• Good working knowledge of Cayman Islands law and legal procedures would be beneficial.
• Demonstrate competence in legal research and the ability to accurately identify and analyze key points.
• Display competence in drafting legal documents.
• Able to prioritize effectively to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
• Highly effective organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English, demonstrating professionalism in all dealings.
