Overview:
A leading international law firm with a market-leading investment funds and financial services practice is seeking to recruit a Senior Investment Funds Lawyer to join its Cayman Islands office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, well-established international funds practice, working closely with an existing Cayman-based partner and supported by a strong global investment funds team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acting as a key member of the Investment Funds team advising on the formation, structuring and ongoing operation of investment funds
• Advising on Cayman fund vehicles, governance, and regulatory matters
• Working closely with international counsel and clients on cross-border fund structures
• Contributing to business development initiatives and client relationship management
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of the team’s knowledge management resources
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers (where appropriate)

Candidate Requirements:
• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ PQE
• Strong experience in investment funds, ideally with Cayman Islands exposure
• Experience gained at an established offshore or international law firm
• Strong technical knowledge of fund structuring and fund lifecycle matters
• Self-starter with commercial awareness and business development acumen
• Excellent drafting, analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced environment
