Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by a reputable, well-established business to assist in their search for a Technical Support Specialist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team.
Core responsibilities for the Technical Specialist is to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to the business’ clients, and will be expected to work exclusively on the Service Desk.
Computer Science or IT related Degree;
Strong experience working with Microsoft, VMware, Symantec and Veeam networking technologies;
Experience of MS Office 365, Active Directory and Exchange 2013/2016 with a current Microsoft MCSA certification (2016);
CompTIA Network+ Certified Professional certification;
Experience of supporting MS Windows 2012/2016 Server and Windows 7/10 Pro;
Experience of Veeam Backup and Symantec Anti-Virus Products;
Consumer awareness and confidence with dealing with clients at all levels;
Good communication skills and experience in the delivery of IT Support;
Cisco CCNA Certification and experience of installing Cisco switches and routers.
