Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by a reputable business on island to assist in their search for a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

This role will play an integral part of the HR team, providing support, analysis and spearheading HR initiatives across the company. The successful applicant will be specializing in recruitment, from sourcing, screening and hiring employees through collaboration with the hiring managers.

Key Job Functions:

*Lead the organization’s staffing needs through the recruiting and selection process from start to finish;
*Draft job adverts, arrange and participate in the interview process and partner with senior management to attract and select the best talent available;
*Manage the on-boarding process through conducting orientation to new hires;
*Manage the on-going intern/student recruitment drive ensuring suitable candidates are placed in Departments;
*Partner and support internal staff to ensure they are fully compliant and aware of local Labour Law requirements;
*Responsible for carrying out broad and complex assignments to interpret and apply organizational policies;
*Develop recommendations to change policies or procedures, to ensure that they are relevant to business, current and reflective of best practice;
*Research and prepare statistics and data to write monthly HR Management report on employees, training, disciplinary matters, performance management and all HR activities;
*Receive requests from senior management and customize statistical summaries and special reports from Human Resource Management Systems;
*Lead a committee to design, develop, and implement the Company’s Employee Wellness Program.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field;
*5 years’ experience in HR or a similar role;
*Experience in applicant tracking systems or human resources information systems (HRIS) would be an asset;
*Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to identify candidates using a variety of sources (Social Media, agency);
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
*Strong planning and organizational skills with enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

In return, a full and competitive remuneration of USD $65,000 – USD $85,000 is on offer commensurate with experience and qualifications as well as a range of premium benefits.
