Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by a multinational, industry leading business to assist with their search for a Supplier Quality Analyst.

Under the general direction of the director procurement operations and with input from the vendor quality support manager, this position is responsible for the application of vendor management programs related to supplier risk mitigation and supplier and raw material information to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards and requirements.

This position will also be responsible for report writing and data collection for review by the rest of the team. This positions focus will be the international business and will be dealing directly with vendors.

Primary Responsibilities:

QN: Extract QN info from SAP and assist with maintenance of QN sheets to calculate supplier compliance to specification. Perform trend analysis to drive root calls and corrective action.
Projects: Management of assigned projects that support the supply sustainability and comprehensive continuous improvement goals of the procurement operations function.
Specification Review: Possible every other year specs review and sign off. Work with business units to align on their specs and set up a process with the business and the vendor.
General Administration: Handle missing COA and packaging information when needed. Assist conference calls, meetings, take meeting notes and take follow up actions. Weekly conference calls with vendors, complete monthly, quarterly reports in a pre-assigned format to score vendors and identify vendor performance based on previous period. Keep all certifications up to date as well as master certification sheet. Manage the appropriate section of the workflow tools.
Vendor Requests: Update annually, various required information from vendors, that would include tear sheets, product ranges, allergen sheet etc. Assist with maintenance of FSMA information ensuring updated and available as per direction.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field ideal;
Applicable experience working in the Food Industry ideal;
Motivated and confident approach to managing relationships;
Technical proficiency (Excel to an advanced level).
