Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by an island leading business to assist with their search for a Senior Manager – Marketing and Communications.
This individual will be responsible for the overall brand management and marketing of the business; including the development and management of an integrated marketing communications strategy delivered through advertising, web, social media, public relations, executive communications, and internal communications.
Demonstrated leadership and management in the production of campaigns delivered across multiple platforms;
Expert knowledge of and experience in communications, public relations, media relations, advertising and marketing with specialized skills and core competencies in these areas;
Demonstrated success in increasing public awareness and raising the profile of an institution;
Record of success in working collaboratively with senior administrators and department managers is an asset;
Excellent organizational and tracking skills and ability to set/shift on priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment;
Working knowledge of the principles of marketing, public relations, journalism, broadcasting, advertising and budgeting within the context of education;
Must be an excellent writer, an effective presenter and public speaker;
Innovative and creative approach in the development and implementation of tactics and content creation;
Excellent research, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint;
Working knowledge of graphic design and desktop publishing, preferably Microsoft Publisher and Ado be Creative Suite and experience with website development and maintenance, information architecture, content management systems, HTML;
Ability to forge and maintain strategic relationships with various stakeholders;
Independent work style which anticipates needs and builds strong team relationships.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization (e.g. Marketing, Communications, Educational Leadership, or related field);
At least ten years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, product development or equivalent;
Demonstrated success leading the development and execution of a marketing and communications office and all associated duties related to branding, public relations, marketing, print and digital media and presidential events preferably within a university environment.
In return, salary will be in the range of US$85,000 to US$110,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as a full range of premium benefits.
