Affinity recruitment has been engaged by a multinational financial services business to assist in their search for a Fund Accounting Manager.
The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of fund administration – they will have a proven track record of delivering high quality service to technically complex structures including private equity funds and closed ended funds.
-Client relationship management;
-Reconcile various accounts;
-Reviewing reconciliations prepared by others and correcting any breaks;
-Receive, review and process all capital activity for the assigned portfolio (subscriptions, redemptions and transfers);
-Prepare timely and accurate Net Asset Value reports;
-Maintain all investor due diligence information;
-Oversee the distribution of all investor related communication, including periodic investor statements;
-Ensuring policies/procedures are up to date;
-Assist in preparing audit schedules, financial statements, other report, business development and marketing.
-University degree and an internationally-recognized professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPS etc.)
-5+ years’ experience in a fund accounting of fund administration role;
-Experience with preparing financial statements in conformity with US GAAP and IFRS;
-Excellent communication skills;
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and willing to take on new challenges.
Base salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be in the range of US$90,000 to US$115,000 as well as a full range of premium benefits.
