The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance, providing administrative and clerical support to the finance function.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Collect and enter data into accounting systems;
Assist fee earners with the preparation of invoices;
Process and reconcile invoices;
Monitor accounts receivables and follows up with clients for payment for outstanding invoices;
Responsible for input and deposits of cheques, cash, and processing credit card payments;
Responsible for preparing and settling expense claims;
Maintain record and monitor petty cash;
Monitor bank account balances, request transfers and preform period reconciliation as required.
The ideal candidate:
One to two years experience within a Legal or Financial Services firm is preferred, you must have a strong academic background, excellent organizational skills and a willingness to learn along with strong IT skills;
Exceptional numeracy skills;
Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs and accounting software;
Able to work with minimal supervision.
