Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by a multinational law firm to assist in their search for a Finance Administrator. This individual will provide finance support to the business with principle accountabilities being Purchase Ledger, Banking, and System Administration.
Maintaining the purchase ledger including payment of suppliers;
Complete banking functions;
Assist credit control locally;
Working as part of a team to maintain local and group accounting records;
Working as part of a team to complete various matter management tasks;
Assist with audit and reporting requirements;
Maintain ledgers and accounting records;
Provide cover for other Finance Team members during absence;
Assist with drafting and maintaining local workflows and policies and procedures.
A good working knowledge of Viewpoint – Practice Manager and Client Accounting modules;
Ideally 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role;
Accounting/Bookkeeping certificates or qualifications ideal;
Basic accounting knowledge;
Strong communication skills;
The ability to work under pressure;
Competence in Microsoft Suite Applications and accounting software programmes;
The ability to reconcile accounts.
