Affinity Recruitment has been engaged by a multinational and highly successful FS business to assist in their search for a Commercial Director.
Our client is looking for someone with a strong understanding of complex offshore fiduciary and capital markets structures. You will need to have proven experience developing business, locally and overseas, and implementing strategic growth and commercial plans.
Lead the development and implementation of a sustainable, long term strategic commercial plan for the business;
Increase business partner activities and relationships with measureable long term engagement and service touch points, contracts and joint initiatives;
Collaborate with regional and local management, sales, business developers and marketing teams;
Identify and develop onshore, offshore, and cross-sell opportunities through collaboration with key clients, relationship management teams, business developers and business partners;
Participate in the establishment and implementation of marketing, content, branding and event activities and oversee timely, accurate and complete delivery in line with the strategic plan;
Help to develop suitable services and modeled pricing structures to suite client needs;
Produce presentations, reports and pitch books tailored to prospect and existing clients.
University degree and an internationally recognized professional qualification in Business, Accounting or Law preferred;
A Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry;
Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in sales, business developing and relationship management;
Thorough understanding/working knowledge of complex offshore fiduciary and capital markets structures, fund administration and accounting services, offshore investment vehicles, corporate and trust structures and regulatory governance services;
Proven track record of successful sales history/performance;
In depth understanding of corporate governance, risk management, local and international regulations impacting all services and products of the business and local and global best practices;
Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to successfully engage with coach and proactively manage a team of professionals;
Exceptional relationship management skills with a track record in successfully developing.
