Senior Analyst - Corporate Governance & Risk Management

The Senior Analyst, Governance & Risk Management will assist with Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance and administrative duties associated with the business and its affiliate companies.

Key Duties:

  • Responsible for the quarterly risk and controls process. Coordinate risk associates, set meetings and maintain minutes. Present results of control testing, internal operational changes and external emerging issues;
  • SOMO for Operational Process Control Program and coordinate testing for OPC, FPC, and RCM controls, managing quarterly assertions;
  • Lead the development of Operational Risk Profile;
  • Deficiency Management: Responsible for classification of self-identified deficiencies as the arise. Approve mitigation plans and track implementation to completion;
  • Maintain EGRC;
  • Assist with managing the Regulatory Compliance Management Framework, including the maintenance of the RCM requirement library, and oversight of the quarterly oversight functions;
  • Serve as expert for specific RGT’s as required. Stay abreast of changes to regulation and implement changes to policies and procedures to ensure adherence;
  • Assist with preparation of the quarterly compliance report to the Boards of Directors;
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly Board meetings – schedule meetings, prepare notice, agenda and the Board Books for meeting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance ideal;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience and knowledge in a Corporate Secretarial role or professional services environment;
  • Ability to work under tight timelines over extended periods of time, particularly at months-end;
  • Ability to prioritize frequently changing demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Perceptive and responsive to the attitudes, values and concerns of others.
