Reputable Cayman Islands bank are in search of an experienced banking professional to join their team as an Operations Manager. Significant management experience in a banking environment is essential. Some key duties include, but are not limited to:
Establishing, maintaining and monitoring the ongoing performance of effective procedures to ensure high quality service delivery to both external and internal customers;
Ensuring the efficient daily operations of the team;
Monitoring and ensuring adherence to applicable processes, policies and procedures across the department;
Providing regular progress reports on team activities and business plan objectives to management;
Establishing and administering performance measures as part of the company’s performance management programme – evaluating work performance, setting goals and objectives, and providing feedback, direction and guidance;
Collaborating with other business managers to support and promote a strong cross training initiative.
*A Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field would be advantageous;
*A minimum of 10 years broad banking experience, with at least 5 years served in a supervisory/management role;
*Proven management experience including working as an effective team player and the ability to coach and motivate several teams;
*Excellent communication skills including oral, written and interpersonal;
*Strong analytical, leadership, decision-making and organisational skills.
