Overview: 
Our client, a leading insurance company in the Cayman Islands, is seeking a motivated INSURANCE SALES AGENT to join their team. 
In this role, you will assist clients in meeting their insurance needs and sell a comprehensive range of insurance products.
This is a commission-based position, with a stipend provided for the first 6 months.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
•    Develop a long-term client base by leveraging referrals, occupational networks, and special interest groups to compile prospect lists.
•    Approach potential clients through direct mail, phone solicitation, and presentations at company-sponsored events.
•    Assess clients’ specific needs and financial situations by scheduling fact-finding appointments, reviewing current coverage, and understanding long-term goals.
•    Obtain underwriting approval by accurately completing and submitting applications for coverage.
•    Enhance the company’s reputation by taking ownership of new and unique client requests, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
•    Focus on expanding the Group Health Portfolio while cross-selling other services and product lines.
 
 
Skills & Qualifications:
•    Meet the minimum qualifications for customer-facing contact as per CIMA regulations.
•    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
•    Strong prospecting skills.
•    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
•    Strong organizational abilities.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a related field.
•    Must hold a valid, clean driver’s license.
