Finance Manager

JOB # 69 LOCATION George Town, Grand Cayman

We’re assisting our client with their search for a Finance Manager to join their Finance team in Grand Cayman.

This role is initially a 6 month contract and will require the successful candidate to start at short notice.

Under the guidance of the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the accounting of all financial transactions, including maintenance of general ledgers and sub-ledgers, completion of monthly close processes, and preparation of monthly internal/external financial reports. The post holder will have shared responsibility to ensure that all expenditures are properly incurred, authorized, and disbursed, and are in accordance with internal policies and procedures.

Requirements:

The post holder will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, five (5) years’ experience in a similar role and be a Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant. He/she will be knowledgeable of accounting policies and procedures, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and US or Canadian GAAP.
