Compliance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our client’s expanding team.

Duties:

  • Managing a team of Compliance Administrators in order to ensure client on-boarding and AML/KYC processes and requirements are undertaken in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Working with the Head of Compliance, assist in identifying and implementing process improvements, IT systems and software, and other service innovation changes that will improve efficiency and the client experience.
  • Assisting the Head of Compliance with internal AML/CFT training obligations and the drafting of manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide reports and analysis as required for risk management purposes.
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring requirements are met, which include but are not limited to periodic reviews and compliance audits and remediation of client files and documentation as required.
  • Undertaking other such duties and projects related to the role that may be assigned to you by the Head of Compliance and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years’ regulatory and compliance expertise in either the financial or the professional services sector (professional compliance qualifications would be advantageous).
  • Thorough understanding of AML/CFT legal and regulatory framework of the Cayman Islands.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Experience with using Viewpoint.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate technical accuracy and meet deadlines.

Remuneration:

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, candidates will be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include five weeks’ vacation per annum, health insurance and pension plan per statutory requirements.
