The Communications Manager will be responsible for coordinating all public relations and communication strategies and plans to proactively promote the positive public image and reputation of the company. The post holder must ensure that public relations and communication strategies and programmes of the company are developed in a manner that has due regard to key trends in public concerns, and relevant professional opinions, and articulates the vision and values of the company’s goals and objectives.

The Communications Manager will be expected to develop relevant, timely and effective strategies through which the vision, values and current priorities of the company and its units are articulated. The post holder is part of a small team that is charged to develop integrated communications programmes which ensure wide awareness of the work of all subject entities. Particular focus will be placed on writing and editorial services, stakeholder communications and delivering products and services of superior quality.

This role is a temporary contract for 6-months and will require the individual to commence employment in August.

Requirements:

  • The post holder should have a Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or business administration;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or public relations management role.
