Multinational business seeking an Associate Director to join their Directorships team.
The Associate Director will work closely with Senior Management, and other employees, to support the clients with their needs. They may also be called upon to provide Director, Trustee and other related administration services to a wide range of investment vehicles and structures.
The successful individual will perform a detailed review of all documentation and communications for an assigned portfolio of clients, and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the issues at hand. They will also assist with designing, implementing and overseeing internal controls and operating procedures, and evaluate the risk involved in each situation, prioritizing risk levels appropriately. They will be expected to keep abreast of all regulatory changes, and accept appointments as a Director on investment funds and other vehicles when necessary.
A Master’s degree in Law or Accountancy, or qualification as a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst or Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst;
Minimum of 6 years post-qualification senior financial services experience, with a proven track record of advancement;
Strong client services experience at management level within the investment funds industry;
Experience reviewing fund governing documentation and financial statements;
Prior experience serving as a Director on investment company and investment management company boards, preferred;
Firm knowledge of Cayman Islands Mutual Funds law, a strong grasp of legal concepts.
