The Assistant Accountant is responsible for supporting the Accountant, Accounts Supervisor and Finance team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for research, preparation, scanning and posting of daily cash receipts.
Assist Operation staff with inquires regarding payments.
Processing of Bank Reconciliations, along with preparation and clearing of outstanding items.
Preparation, posting and scanning of journal entries.
Assist the Accounting Supervisor with the maintenance of the physical and electronic filing system.


Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year College; and two or more years related experience and/or training.
Analytical and organizational skills are beneficial, including the ability to follow directions and work with the team.
Attention to detail is a plus.
Communication skills are important, as well as keeping a team-oriented and results-driven approach, to facilitate productivity and continued improvement.
Ability to apply integrity and professionalism to work practices in keeping in line with Company standards and guidelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and any other required Company programs.
